Our mortar raking diamond blades are in two designs:
Dual Cut:These effectively use two diamond blades, co-joined on a central flange. They thus cut, more than grind, with the centre tending to crumble out. As there is no diamond in the centre, these blades are a more economical choice. Additional benefits include, less tendency to make dust as the centre crumbles and lighter load on the angle grinder, making them better suited to battery powered grinders.
Premium: These incorporate premium diamond segments. The segments are laser welded and TC inserts are applied to resist undercutting on abrasive mortars. They thus give long life with great performance on all mortar types. These are available up to 230mm diameter, which can be used to provide a convenient means of slot cutting to insert lead flashing and other roofing materials.
Mortar Fingers: Mortar fingers are ideal for uneven and short runs of mortar, such as on random stone. They have the added benefit of not throwing the dust very far.
